When our son, Nick, joined the Marine Corp, I was very nervous about Boot Camp and what it might do to him. As a mom, I was afraid for him because I had heard that Boot Camp can be a very intense, challenging, and sometimes dangerous undertaking.

Nick assured us that he was eager and up for the challenge. He went away as a 19 year old boy and 3 months later came back a focused, proud, lean (never mean) Marine. He walked taller, he thought deeper, and he had goals.

There will be 2 Pods within the Squad and each pod will contain 5 people

The Squad of 10 will meet face to face once a month

Each Pod will work internally (with each other) weekly

There will be a teleseminar every other week for the entire Squad to participate in

There will be 2 days each month for face to face coaching for the Pods on a first come first served basis

There will be an online Social Networking site on Ning for the Squad and the Pods

SO, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE TIME COMMITTMENT

Here's an outline of what to expect:

Two day intensive - Friday, January 22nd and Saturday, January 23rd. Friday's session will go from 4 to 7PM. Saturday's session will go from 10AM to 2PM. Attendance on these 2 days is essential to your success. Friday's session is about the group connecting and Vision Questing individually and as a team. Saturday's session is about creating Vision Boards/Mind Maps and about creating the road map to achieve the Vision both individually, within Pods, and the entire Squad. You will come away with a clear focus and vision on what you want, how to get there, how to know when you have arrived, and how to celebrate when you do!

Additional Squad "Face to Face" Sessions will be on Saturday's: 2/13/10; 3/20/10; 4/24/10 from 10AM to 2PM each time. These Saturday dates are optional ... but trust me you don't want to miss them. Each session will be about hands on learning and putting strategies into practice AND a review of accomplishments toward our goals.

The Teleconferences and Webcasts will be on these dates: 2/10/10; 2/24/10; 03/10/10; 03/24/10; 4/14/10 at 5PM and last for 1 hour. These calls will be recorded. Each session will cover another Strategy and the tools necessary to implement the strategy

The Pod Coaching by appointment dates are: 2/1/10; 2/15/10; 3/8/10; 3/19/10; 3/31/10; 4/12/10 - Pod Squad members can meet with me individually or as Pods on these dates by appointment either in person, over the web, or over the phone for help with assignments, tasks or general questions on their strategies

In between actual events listed above, there will be assignments for the Pods to work on together to keep everyone moving toward their goals and creating their online Social Media presence
